Ujjwala Yojana has stopped in Jharkhand: JVM(P)

Ranchi: JVM(P) Central spokesperson Yogendra Pratap Singh that the Ujjwala Yojana has completely flopped in the state. He said that while on one hand, the BJP government at both Central and state are patting their back over this scheme but the real condition in Jharkhand was far from reality.

He pointed out that under the scheme out of 26. 30 lakh beneficiary 15.7 8 lakh beneficiary which means 60% of the gas owners could not get the second refill done. He said that once again the women are back to burning wood and charcoal in their homes but the agency is involved in this project made lots of money. 

Mr Singh pointed that despite being aware of the fact that the poor woman will not be able to get their gas cylinders refilled on a frequent basis the central government launched the scheme not for the benefit of the women but for the agencies which are involved in this scheme.
