Ranchi: Ranchi DC Rai Mahimpet Rey reviewed the preparations for the upcoming visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the state and issued necessary instructions to the officials concerned.
Mr Rai directed the officials to make sure that all the roads are cleaned before time while the civil surgeon was asked to make arrangements for mobile medical van and ensure basic emergency medical kits are present in the buses. On the other hand the municipal corporation was asked to make arrangements for bio-toilets.
The DC instructed the DPRO to erect hoardings at all the block. He said that in wake of visit of the Prime Minister all officials should work in coordination and make sure that the work is completed on time. He also instructed to make sure that there is problem in traffic movement in the city and elaborate arrangements for drinking water, tent and decoration be made.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is arriving in Ranchi on September 23 during which he would launch the Ayushman Bharat Scheme under which the families will be provided an insurance cover of Rs 5 lakh. In Jharkhand 57 lakh families will be covered in the state. A helpline number 14555 has also been launched in which the people can dial to collect information about the scheme.
Those present on the occasion also included AC, ADM Law and Order, LRDC, NDC, Civil Surgeon and officials from other departments.
