Mining process should commence in five hectares of Balu Ghats: Chief Secretary

Ranchi: Chief Secretary Sudhir Tripathi has directed to remove all the bottlenecks inside my name to the mines and forest and environment department. He said that the guidelines of the of National green tribunal should be followed and such a mechanism should be put in place so that in less time sand mining is done.

Mr Tripathi said that to ensure that there is no lack of sand in the street therefore as per the rule in 5 hectares of land mining works should be commenced. His instructions in this regard came during a review meeting over the NGT directions for mining in Jharkhand. Secretary Mines said that it is expected that the process to commence mining in 5 to 25 hectares of land it will take 5 to 6 months and even if the process starts today by the time it is completed it would start raining over which the chief secretary asked the department concerned to work in coordination and complete the work in less time
