Budget Session: Speaker expresses displeasure over non presence of officials

Ranchi: Speaker Dinesh Oraon expressed his anguish over nonpresence of officials in the assembly and said that officials who think that coming to assembly is disrespectful should not remain in Jharkhand.

The speaker said that he has witnessed scenes continuously during the house in this session that the enclosure for the officials
remains empty or only some of the officials are present he said that there are also search officials who have not on a single day bothered to come to the house.

He said if officials do not want to come to the house and do not like to sit in the enclosure then there was no point having them. The
comments of the speaker followed during a call attention motion given by JMM MLA Nalin Soren. 

Mr. Soren pointed out that advertisement of JPSC dated 12-2018 for the post of civil junior judge did not follow the reservation policy as according to the reservation policy the seats in the general category should have been 53 while that for the OBC should have been
15 SC 11 and ST 17 seats. Replying over the issue as the minister in charge Amar Bauri said that there are 319 posts of Junior civil division charge in the state for which two rounds of recruitment has been completed. He said that reservation on these seats was decided and also there was no mistake in the advertisement.

As the speaker raised question asking as to whether separate exams can be held for this post Mr Bauri said that he was not in a position to reply as the officials were not present in the house and urged that the call attention motion should be taken up once again tomorrow over which Mr Dinesh Oraon expressed his displeasure over the nonpresence of officials in the house.
