Priority for state government to link youth with jobs: Raghubar

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that the state was full of young talent and his government has made dedicated efforts to enhance the skills of the youth and link them with jobs as a result of which they have managed to get employment in large numbers in the private sector.

Addressing a function after distributing appointment letter among 69 youth of PREJHA Foundation who have got jobs in Dubai he said that the labour force of Jharkhand was better and disciplined as compared to the other states and are considered simple and hardworking. In his address to the youth, he said that they should work in such a manner that the entire world comes to be known of the fact that the workforce of Jharkhand is better and disciplined. He said that the youth of the state were its identity and they would play an important role in making a New Jharkhand and congratulated them for a new beginning in their lives.

Mr Das said that despite Jharkhand being a rich state poverty prevailed in its womb and it is the priority of the government to get rid of poverty. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the entire country skill development programmes have been run on a mission mode and the state government in coordination with the centre has set by skill development centers with dedication in Jharkhand. He said that for providing quality education to the youth of the state in every district Gurukuls have been set through which youth of far-flung areas are provided skill development training and linked with jobs. 

The Chief Minister said that in the global era the demand of skilled manpower has increased and kept the demand in mind the skill
development programmes have been run on a mission mode in the state. He said that his government was committed to enhance the
skill of the youth who are not much educated and said that more focus has been accorded to improve the youth of less educated youth
of the villages as they too are full of talent and just need the training to better their lives. He said that in Dubai a large Indian population also lives and recently Prime Minister Narendra Modi has laid the foundation for a temple in Abu-Dhabi and asked them to face the difficulties in their path and support their families.

Mr Das said that the Welfare Department was working for the betterment of all the sections and also congratulated Department Secretary Himani Pandey for her works. The Chief Minister asked the representatives of the employer company to ensure that the appointed youth should be given the salary as per the agreement which has been inked so that in future also more trained youth as per the needs of the company can be sent to Dubai. He also asked the company to make arrangements for accommodation and food of these youth.
