Speaker asks Minister C P Singh not to speak beyond limit

Ranchi: Jharkhand Assembly Speaker Dinesh Oraon reprimanded Urban Development Minister C P Singh not to exceed his time limit while speaking in the house over the debate on demand in grants for the different departments.

During the discussion on cut motion Speaker Dinesh Oraon since the commencement of the discussion was of the view that all the speakers should speak within their time limits however while speaking on the issue the minister kept on exceeding his speech while on the other hand, the speaker kept on reminding him to complete his speech time after time.

Such was the situation that the Speaker was also forced to press the red button signaling the minister to stop his speech but as Mr Singh kept on going further after which a livid speaker asked the minister not to force the chair. His comments drew sharp reactions from the minister who said that since the speaker was not linking therefore he is discontinuing his speech, after which the minister immediately sat on the seat and did not speak
further.
