Ranchi: Members of the opposition created an uproar in the Assembly over the issue of witnesses of Bakoria encounter being threatened and threat issued to MCC MLA from Nirsa Arup Chatterjee by the alleged coal Mafia. During the Zero Hour, both the matters were raised by CPI M L MLA Rajkumar Yadav who said that eyewitnesses of the Bakoria encounter were being threatened and have been asked not to give a statement before the court.
He said that for the last three days the witnesses were staging a dharna outside the Raj Bhawan. Mr Yadav said that threat has been also issued by coal Mafia to MLA Arup Chatterjee who has been threatened to kill and warned of bombs being thrown at him. He said that after the threats have been issued to the MLA the security of all the other legislators has been also jeopardized and demanded for government action within 24 hours.
