Koderma: An eight year old boy who was a student of a private school was run over by a speeding hyva in Bagdo under Domchanch Police Station area of this district.
Police said that the child was going to his home from school when he was run over by the hyva. Post the incident the driver tried to flee but was caught by the villagers who thrashed him badly.
Upon receiving information Koderma SP M Tamilvahnan and ASP Ajay Pal themselves reached on the spot and tried to rescue the driver from the people over which the locals got agitated and blocked traffic movement on the Koderma-Giridih road, however, the police somehow managed to rescue the driver.
