Making people strong & empowered by connecting them with welfare schemes says Hemant

Daltonganj: Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that the officials are reaching to remote areas by motorbike cycle tractor and even on foot to cover the people with the welfare schemes of the government by setting up camps.

He said that the villagers should go to the house of the public representatives and ask them to go to the place where the camp has been set up and work to connect them with the scheme.

He was addressing people at the “Aapki Yojana- Aapki Sarkar- Aapke Dwar” program at Police Line Stadium, Medininagar. Stalls of various departments were put up in the stadium where the officials were made aware of the public welfare schemes and benefitted the people.

The Chief Minister said that under “Aapki Yojana- Aapki Sarkar-Aapke Dwar”, the officials are working to bring the schemes of the government directly to to the homes. This program has worked to bring happiness on the faces of the people.

He said that the program will continue not only for one month but also after that as through such programs the rural and simple public get rid of the touts because the officials will solve problems in the camps themselves.

He said such an environment has not been seen in 20 years wherever the camp is being held there is a fair-like atmosphere. If people are not able to apply related to the problem in any camp then the next day they can go to the nearest camp and apply for the solution of their problem.

The Chief Minister said that under the Savitribai Phule Kishori Samridhi Yojana, work is being done to connect 9 lakh girls. Under this 1 lakh 50 thousand girls have been added. He said that the government is preparing the blueprint for the coming generation as Smart schools are being constructed to strengthen the education system.

Some model schools will be started from November 15 due to which the children there will get free education even better than private schools. The Chief Minister said that today work is being done to make people self-reliant by connecting them with various schemes. Pension is being provided to the elderly, widows, single women, disabled people and at the same time, work is being done to connect the youth with self-employment by providing loans at the lowest rate. 

The Chief Minister said that the people of the state are dependent on agriculture. Especially in Palamu, there is always a drought-like situation and this year 226 blocks of 22 districts have been declared drought-hit. He said that work is being done on various irrigation projects by the government.

Our target is that in the coming years, every single field of the state should have water available for irrigation throughout the year. On the occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 57 schemes costing Rs 23,483.5 lakh. In which 33 important schemes like the construction of various roads, construction and repair of lake, Tetrai construction, health center,
check dam, crematorium, hand pump and shed construction, rural water supply scheme and building construction were inaugurated at a total cost of Rs 9,234.428 lakh.

At the same time, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of 24 schemes costing a total of Rs 14,249.072 lakh. In which the work of restoration of Ranital reservoir scheme and lining of main canals, construction of a commercial unit, primary health center, community health center, Sadar Hospital, construction of 100 beds under Palamu, tourist development work, bridge construction, community building, ward development etc are included. There are many public welfare schemes like construction
of center, housing, water supply scheme, repair and construction of various roads, beautification of park, construction of paver block and drain. 

Along with this, the Chief Minister distributed a total amount of Rs 1,688.940 lakh among the total 25 beneficiaries. In which schemes of Savitribai Phule Kishori Samridhi Yojana are included among the girls to make people self-supporting like scholarship, pension, employment generation, assistance amount, agricultural machinery, land lease, cow for dairy.

Minister Parliamentary Affairs and Rural Development Department, Aalamgir Aalam, Minister Labour Employment Training and Skill Development Department Satyanand Bhokta Minister Drinking Water and Sanitation Department Mithilesh Kumar Thakur, Mayor Medininagar Aruna Shankar, Secretary to Chief Minister Vinay Kumar Choubey, Commissioner Palamu Jata Shankar Choudhary and others were present on the occasion.
