Special camps will be organised for registration and providing identity cards to farmers and labourers: CM

Sahibganj: Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that the goal of the Aapki Yojana- Aapki Sarkar-Aapke Dwar program is to take the schemes of the interest of the people to the doorsteps of their homes and it is being run in mission mode so that maximum number of people can be benefited quickly. 

Addressing the people in the program “Aapki Yojana- Aapki Sarkar- Aapke Dwar” organized at Police Line Ground, Sahibganj on Wednesday he said that all the people are requested to submit the applications related to their problems wherever the camp is held, so that they can be benefited from the schemes at all times. Stalls of various departments were set up at the spot where 
the people were given the benefits of public welfare schemes by the officials. 

The Chief Minister said that even last year, 99 percent of the people’s problems were solved out of 35 lakh applications under the Sarkar Aapke Dwar program. At the same time, more than 21 lakh applications have been received by the government in 15 days, which are being resolved by the concerned officials.

In order to take this scheme to the remote areas, the officials of government are reaching out to the and working to get the people benefited from the schemes he said adding that the problems which cannot be resolved here are being sent to the headquarters on which the senior executives are considering and executing the work and at the same time daily monitoring of this program is being done through the portal. He said that 226 blocks of 22 districts have been declared drought-hit. Under this, the government is working by making a plan to provide assistance amount per farmer at the rate of Rs 3500 to 30 lakh farmers.

The Chief Minister said that the government is determined to help the people and identity cards are being made by the department for the farmers and soon the work of registering the farmers will be done by setting up special camps for this. He said that the government has plans to make water available in every field for 12 months, an action plan is being prepared in this regard.

The Chief Minister said that there is a plan to benefit 9 lakh girls from Savitribai Phule Kishori Samridhi Yojana. About 2 lakh applications have been received in this. Out of these, 1 lakh 25 thousand applications have also been approved. These girls will also start getting the benefits of the scheme.

The government is connecting the elderly, widows, disabled and single women with Sarvajan Pension. For the better future of the children of tribal, backward etc they are being sent to study abroad at government expense he said adding that modern schools are being built for the better future of Jharkhand while beautification of the tribal hostel made by the welfare department is also being done.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated - foundation stone of 23 schemes costing Rs 10481.00 lakh. Nine schemes were 
inaugurated at a total cost of Rs 5517.75 lakh. Chief Minister inaugurated the new building of Barhait police station constructed by Jharkhand Police Housing Corporation Limited. He laid the foundation stone of 14 schemes costing a total of Rs 4963.25 lakh.

Apart from this, appointment letters and assets were distributed among 23 beneficiaries of various welfare schemes worth Rs 133.29 lakh in the program by the Chief Minister. Minister Parliamentary Affairs Rural Development Department Aalamgir Alam, Minister Labor Employment Training and Skill Development Department Satyanand Bhokta, Lok Sabha MP Vijay Hansda, Borio MLA Shri Lobin Hembram, Rajmahal MLA Anant Ojha and others were present on the occasion.
