World Tribal Day: Procession taken out on main road by tribal organizations

Ranchi: On the occasion of World Tribal Day, various tribal organizations took out a procession on the main road of the capital. On this occasion, tribal women and men danced all their way on the sound of Dhol and Mandar and they also congratulated each other on World Tribal Day.

In this procession, more than two dozen tribal organizations participated. People said that the world’s tribals should be united through the procession. They said that water, forest land belongs to the tribals and also demanded strict implementation of CNT-SPT act they said that the new local planning policy, Sarna tribal religious code should be implemented and demanded the government to implement it. 

The procession was taken out under the leadership of Congress MLA Shilpi Neha Tirkey. In which hundreds of men and women participated. Similarly, the Adivasi Adhikar Yatra was organized under the leadership of Ajay Tirkey, chairman of the Central Sarna Committee.

A procession was taken out under the leadership of Phoolchand Ki, the chairman of the Central Sarna Committee. Under the leadership of Central Committee Chairman Bablu Munda, saplings were distributed on the main road. Similarly, a procession was taken out under the leadership of Jai Adivasi Central Council President Niranjana.

A procession was taken out under the leadership of Sarna Sangharsh Samiti President Shiva Kachhap which reached the convocation pavilion of Morhabadi and a huge procession was also taken out by the All India Tribal Development Council.
