Giridih: A woman along with her couple of infant daughters jumped into a well at Telkhara under Dumri Police Station area of this district on Saturday as a result of which the woman and her three year old daughter were drowned while another daughter aged
18 months was rescued and admitted at the hospital.
Upon receiving information a police team reached on the spot and sent the bodies for post-mortem. The deceased have been identified as Basanti Devi (25) and Gudiya (3). According to the police the woman was having feud inside her family. Relatives said that the father of the woman had also visited her yesterday to sort out the issue and asked her to come with him which she declined.
Today in the morning as soon as her husband left the home she alongwith her daughters went to a near by field and jumped into the well.
