PM likely to inaugurate Deoghar Airport on July 12

Deoghar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate Deoghar Airport on July 12 before the Shravani Mela. With the inauguration airlines will start from here to Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. The Deoghar airport has been fully prepared for the arrival of the Prime Minister. 

According to the information after the inauguration of the airport, Prime Minister Modi will address the gathering at the Deoghar College ground after offering prayers at the Baba Baidyanath temple. IndiGo’s 180-seater passenger flight has also successfully tested on June 7 at Deoghar Airport. All facilities for passengers have been prepared at the Deoghar airport terminal. All security arrangements have been made including ticket counter, check-in counter, and parking of vehicles.

Managers and personnel have been appointed permanently at Deoghar Airport. Before the inauguration, online ticket booking for flights from Deoghar airport to Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore will be started. Indigo will start passenger airlines for these three cities before Deoghar airport.

The work on the approach road of Deoghar airport is going on in full swing. The PMO and Civil Aviation have received the report of the approach road including Deoghar airport. Keeping in mind the security of the  Prime Minister, soon the SPG team is going to come from Delhi to take stock of Deoghar College ground including Deoghar Airport. On June 10, Godda MP Dr Nishikant Dubey took stock of the Deoghar College ground, the proposed meeting place of the Prime Minister. 

Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das has announced the inauguration of Deoghar airport by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 12 during a press conference in Deoghar. Mr Das had said that the  Prime Minister had laid the foundation stone of Deoghar Airport on 25 May 2018 keeping in mind the development of Santal Parganas. On July 12, this airport will be inaugurated by the PM himself. Das had also taken stock of Deoghar airport during his Deoghar visit.
