Water of Palamu to be sent to Bihar through Mandal Dam alleges Hemant

Daltonganj: Leader of the opposition and acting president of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha Hemant Soren who kicked off his Sangarsh Yatra in Palamu said that a conspiracy has been hatched to divert the water of Palamu to Bihar through the Mandal Dam project.

Addressing the people at Haidernagar Bus Stand Mode here he said that the project is meant to divert the water from Palamu which has been facing a series of drought to Bihar. He said that leave behind irrigation the area will not get a single drop of water to drink. He said that for 17 years the BJP has ruled the state which has only made the people fight against each other and urged the people to vote for the JMM.

Mr Soren said that when his party comes to power the issues of para teachers would be effectively solved and the youth will not be forced to migrate in search for jobs as work will be provided locally. He said that Raghubar Das government can serve no good to the people as claims of its development was only visible in setting up off electricity poles while on the other hand the Health Minister who comes from this area is busy filling his own pockets.
