Deoghar: Deoghar police has arrested eight members of an interstate criminal gang from separate police station areas of this district.
Addressing a press conference here Deoghar SP Narendra Kumar Singh said that acting on a secret tip-off regarding the presence
of the criminals a special police team was constituted which conducted raids at several points and arrested these men.
He said that the arrested were wanted in separate incidents of loot and murder which had taken place in Deoghar Dumka and Pakur districts. He said that police will recommend for a speedy trial for these arrested criminals. Mr Singh said that two desi pistols 7 cartridges 3 magazines and 6 mobile phones have been recovered from their possessions. He said that among the arrested three hail from Jamui district of Bihar.
