Congress to gherao CM residence demanding arrest of killers

Ranchi: The state Congress party has warned to gherao the residence of the Chief Minister if the killers of one Samu Oraon are not arrested by the police. JPCC spokesperson Alok Kumar Dubey who met the family members of the victim said despite identifying the killers the police has not able to arrest them. Samu Oraon was murdered on Jan 9 and on the next day locals had blocked the road demanding the arrest of the killers.

Mr Dubey said that on that day police had given in written that they would arrest the killers within 24 hours but so far three days have gone and no arrests have been made. The local ward councillor said that the villagers of Ghaghra were living in constant fear and it was important that the killers are nabbed soon.
