Union Coal secretary directs to complete Jharia action plan on time

Ranchi: Union Coal Secretary Sumant Chowdhary has directed to complete the Jharia Action Plan on time. Chairing a high level review meeting here he directed that data of the people who are being resettled should be completely digitised and also laid stress
on the fact on time bound resettlement of the people. 

Jharkhand Chief Secretary Sudhir Tripathi directed to form a society so that the people who are being settled do not face any problem in the future as this would also help in maintenance of their homes and sort out the issues related to the use of public facilities. Over the issue of coal theft it was agreed to constitute a joint task force comprising CISF Coal Officials and the police. In the meeting the officials said that under the Jharia Action Plan the work of survey at 584 sites has been done by the JRDA while another 11 sites are located in West Bengal.
