Three TSPC ultras killed in encounter in Latehar, arms and ammunitions recovered

Latehar: Three ultras belonging to the Tritiya Sammelan Prastuti Committee were gunned down in an encounter with security forces in this district. 

Police said that a tip-off had been received that a TSPC squad led by Rakesh Ganjhu alias Rakesh Bhokta alias Viraaj along with 10-12 squad members were roaming in Hesalbara and Marabar forest after which a special anti-insurgency operation was launched.

Police said that during the operations in Kowakhad forest as soon as the ultras saw the security forces they opened fire which was retaliated back. A gun battle happened during which both sides kept firing at each other at regular intervals.
