Koderma: Body of a girl was recovered from a field at Khagarwatand under Markacho Police Station area of this district. Some of the body parts of the deceased was also eaten away by dogs. Upon receiving information a police team reached on the spot and sent the body was post-mortem.
The deceased was a student of upgraded high school Simaria. Miffed over the incident the locals had blocked traffic movement on the Koderma-kovad Main road which was lifted after Koderma SP M Tamilvahnan reached on the spot and pacified the agitators. The girl has been missing from her home since Monday as she failed to return from the school.
The SP said that the girl was murdered and whether she was raped or not would only be cleared after the post-mortem report is available. Further probe was on.
