Jharkhand has scaled new heights of development in last four years: Raghubar

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said that the state government has scaled new heights of development which has been achieved due to teamwork. Charing a high-level review meeting over the execution of central and the state government schemes at the project building here he said that more speed needed to be added to the development process. He said that faith of
the people has increased on the people and to add further speed to the process and rules needed to be simplified so that there is no obstacle in the development process.

He said that as per the needs of time the changes should be made. The Chief Minister said that most of the regions of the state have become free from the Maoists which are a big achievement. He said that people are now feeling safe. Mr Das said that the demands of the people are small who need homes PMAY Ambedkar Aawas. He said that people want good roads and power has also reached and the process was on to provide quality power to the people. 

Mr Das said the government was providing old age pension widow pension and divyang pension. He said that under the Ujjwala Yojana 14 lakh women would be provided free of cost LPG connections gas stove and first refill free and soon asked the officials to commence the process. The Chief Minister said that separate fund allocation will be made in the budget. He said that under PMAY apart from beneficiaries of the scheme the self help groups so that the process of building homes can speed up. Mr Das said that asked the Principal Secretary Commissioner DC and DGP and other officials to spend at least one day in a week and hold dialogue with the people and organise chaupals so that smaller issues of the people can be solved. He said that there should be a gap between the government and the people. 

Mr Das said that the commissioners should review the work of the COs and BDOs. He sais that Naxalism has been removed almost in the state and in 13 LWE district where villages are Maoist operated the youth of the villages should be linked with skill development and more speed should be added to them. He said that employment opportunities are being created in textile and other sectors and asked the officials to use the funds of the LWE in the development works. He asked to construct water storage tanks in the LWE areas so that people can be provided water and install street lights so that people can get jobs and even travel and
bring changes in the villages. 

He said that through paver blocks should be used to construct roads as it would help in water recharge and villages would be clean. He asked that the local SP should get in touch with the security agencies in the execution of projects. The Chief Minister said that in the next 5-6 months more work needed to be done as in monsoon work would be stopped. He said that schemes from the MLA and MP funds should be approved in time and work should be done on time so that development works can be expedited. He said that some of the DCs have done good work in making school dresses and asked the other DCs to follow others.

He said that school dress is being made by the women and asked the DCs to provide training to the women for which machine should be provided to the women so that they can make dresses. Adivasi and Gram Vikas Samiti also recommended schemes for which funds should be sanctioned. The Chief Minister said that awareness rally should be taken against child marriage and asked to deploy women SPOs at all Kasturba Gandhi Schools. He said that in some of the villages motor cycle ambulance facility would be launched and said that similar facilities should be provided in far off areas. He said under Ayushman Bharat scheme more and more hospitals should be involved and DCs should form an advisory committee and encourage more private hospitals should be encouraged to be part of the scheme.
