Khunti: Body of a girl was found from a field from Anigada village under Town Police Station area of this district. Police said that the body of the victim was spotted by the locals who visited the ground in the morning after which they alerted the police. A police team which later reached on the spot sent the body for post-mortem to Sadar Hospital.
The identity of the victim is yet to be ascertained, police said adding that the victim is aged around 24 years. The body consists of wound marks on neck and ear. Locals alleged that the girl was raped and later strangulated to death. Further probe was on.
