AJSU says Dr Ajay Kumar is an imported leader with policy or ideology

Ranchi: AJSU party has blamed ‘imported’ leaders like JPCC president Dr Ajay Kumar who do not understand the smell of the soil of the state for a political mess in Jharkhand. Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters here central spokesperson of AJSU Dr Devsharan Bhagat said that Dr Ajay Kumar has no political and social understanding of the state as he comes from a bureaucracy background. He said that Dr Kumar has no policy or programme and is interested to fulfil his vested political interests only.

The attack on the Jharkhand Congress chief was launched by the AJSU after Dr Kumar made certain statements in the media against the  regional outfit. Dr Bhagat said that Ajay Kumar became an MP from Jamshedpur from Babulal Marandi’s party and later ditched him. He said that the AJSU party has no need to take any suggestions from him as the party was born from struggle and was committed to uphold the culture tradition and core values of the state. He said that since Dr Ajay Kumar was from Karnataka he was not aware of the smell of soil he does not understands Jharkhand and its need.

To a query, he said that the central committee has already decided to go in the assembly polls alone while the Parliamentary board will take a final call on Lok Sabha elections. He said that party supremo Sudesh Kumar Mahto was undertaking Swaraj Swabhimaan Yatra in the state during which he will be reaching to 5000 villages and will be interacting with them and in the last week of February a massive rally would be organised in Ranchi in which the party would be announcing the future course of action.

Over the Mandal Dam issue, he maintained that his party has been always against displacement and there was a need to reconsider such a proposal in which people from the state would be drowned and others would be benefitted.
