Giridih: In a joint operation conducted by the CRPF and the district police huge quantity of explosives and Naxal literature were recovered from the bordering areas of Bihar and Jharkhand located under Bhelwaghati Police Station area of this district. Police
sources said that a secret tipoff had been received regarding the presence of the Maoists on the bordering areas after which the CRPF jawans conducted a search operation.
Despite the fact that no Maoists were arrested the security personnel managed to recover 9 packets of explosives, two uniforms, electronic detonators, two bag packs, Naxal literature and other items of daily use.
