Doctors decline to shift Lalu Yadav citing health related issue

Ranchi: Former Bihar Chief Minister and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav who is undergoing treatment at paying ward of RIMS will not be shifted to any other ward or floor the doctors treating the leader have said. The doctors are of the view that since the condition of Mr Yadav was not good therefore movement from one place to another can further decline his health conditions and at present
spot he has no problems. They said that in case of any problems even the nurses are able to reach him quickly as their duty room was just in front of his ward.

The jail administration had sought the opinion of the doctors to shift Mr Yadav either to second or third floor fearing for his security however the request has been declined by the doctors who have maintained that sunlight is also important for which which does not reaches in the remaining floor and to take sunlight he would have to walk stairs as there was no lift foreover  the doctors pointed that recently four CCTV cameras have been installed at the floor at an investment of Rs 1.50 lakh for security of Mr Yadav and if he would be shifted than it would incur extra burden.
