3,749 cases of Covid-19 detected on Friday, 2807 cured and discharged

Ranchi : Jharkhand has recorded 3,749 cases of Covid-19 across the 24 districts of the state on Friday after which the overall active number of cases has increased to 33,189. During the day 3 deaths were reported including 1 from Bokaro and 2 from East Singhbhum district as a result of which the overall death count has increased to 5,192. The mortality rate among the patients currently stands at 1.30 percent. As per the information provided by the health department the number of active cases in the state was 33,189 while the overall number of cured and discharged cases stood at 3,60,894.

On Friday a maximum number of 1,355 cases were found in Ranchi followed by 472 in East Singhbhum and 306 in Hazaribagh. A total of number of 2,807 people were also cured and discharged from various dedicated Covid-19 facilities during the day including 1,001 from Ranchi, 271 from East Singhbhum and 196 from Bokaro. Due to the rampant rise in Coronavirus cases across the state the recovery rate of Covid-19 patients has now come down to 90.38 percent.
