Ranchi: Starting from Thursday the auto-renewal of CTO for units having capital of Rs 5 crore would be made online. A statement from
the Jharkhand State Pollution Control Board said that for auto renewal the units will have to upload their CTO atleast 69 days in advance before the end of the actual deadline and upload their application on the online portal.
The auto renewal will come into effect from the next day when the tenure of the current CTO comes to an end. The applications for the auto-renewal will only be accepted after the fee has been paid and the auto-renewal of the CTO will be done for a period of one year.
Following the lack of engineers and lab technicians as per the directions of the board, it has been decided to appoint 15 consulting executives who would be given the appointment letters on January 8.
