Lohardaga: Unidentified armed miscreants set on fire four trucks on fire at Tisiya Bazar Tand under Kisku Police Station area of this district and before fleeing from the spot the criminals also fired in the air to create panic among the people.
Post the criminals left from the spot the villagers somehow managed to save one of the trucks while the flames of another three were doused by the villagers. A Police team which later reached on the spot and recovered some cartridges and empty cartridges. Police was conducting raids to arrest the criminals.
According to the villagers about a dozen armed miscreants reached Tisiya Bazar and after taking out diesel from the trucks set them on fire. The villagers said that after listening to gunshots they came out and doused the flames.
