Cabinet approves Rs 48.20 crore for construction of building state pharmacy institute

Ranchi: The Jharkhand Government approved a sum of Rs 48.20 crore to set up four state pharmacy institute in the four divisions of
the state. A decision in this regard was taken in the meeting of the state cabinet which was chaired by Chief Minister Raghubar Das
at the project building here.

As per the decision, the cost of construction of each of these buildings is estimated to be worth Rs 12.05 crore and would be set up in Palamu, Chaibasa, Hazaribagh and Dumka. It was also decided to give 15.44 decimal of land to GAIL for Jamshedpur Urban Gas Distribution project on a lease of 30 years following a payment of Rs 3.72 crore in Sonari of Jamshedpur circle area of the East Singhbhum district while another proposal to give 0.65 acres in Bhilaipahadi of Jamshedpur circle area for establishing a petrol pump on a lease for 30 years was also approved. 

The government approved a proposal to give 7.23 acres of land in Nirsa area to NKTL on a lease of 30 years to construct a 400/220 KV substation. It was also decided to relax the rules so that a PL account can be opened for Jharkhand State Sports Promotion Society while the government cancelled its order to provide financial aid to the private self-finances technical institutions in the state.
