Penultimate day of Winter Session witness uproar over outsiders recruitment & para teachers issue

Ranchi: On the last and penultimate day of the Winter Session of the Jharkhand Assembly the opposition parties raised the issue of
outsiders being recruited in majority for the jobs of teachers in plus two schools of the state and demanded that the Bauri committee report be tabled into the house. However during the question hour despite the slogan shouting by the opposition MLAs a lone question of Nirsa MLA Arup Chatterjee was taken up which was related to irregularities in construction of new high court building.

As soon as the house assembled for the day BSP Hussainabad MLA Kushwaha Shivpujan Mehta raised the issue of foul language used against him by Hussainabad CO over which Land Revenue Minister Amar Kumar Bauri assured that house that as soon as the report is available action would be taken against the culprit officer. Speaker Dinesh Oroan once again urged the legislators to cooperate in running the house smoothly and said that any kind of ‘disease can be treated by the assembly.

Leader of the opposition Hemant Soren said that it is the responsibility of both the opposition and the ruling parties to run the business of the house however government was more responsible inside and outside the house to run the house. However he said that the manner in which the opposition was being sidelined and issues being raised by them were not getting answers. 

Mr Soren raised the issue of allegations which were levelled against Urban Development Minister C P Singh and said that he was hurt by the statements and demanded that the same should be removed from the proceedings of the house and also demanded that the Chief Minister seek an apology over the issue. Pradeep Yadav of the JVM said that if he and Mr Soren have made such allegations than the minister should come out with proof.

He said that since he was a senior MLA and should not have made such allegations and urged the minister not to make such remarks in future. Speaker Dinesh Oroan said if there is any objection than the copy of the proceedings will be given to the concerned so that if there is any objection than the same can be removed.
