Raghubar chairs Siddhi Baat: Orders Affiliation of Inter & Degree colleges involved in forgery be cancelled

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das ordered that a probe be conducted into the acts of such inter and degree colleges who have taken grants on the basis of fake documents and cancel their affiliation. Chairing the Siddhi Baat programme at the Suchana
Bhawan here Mr Das gave the orders following a complaint from one Ashish Kumar of Sahibganj district who pointed that in a degree cum inter college for the tribals in Borio block the parameters were not being followed over which the Chief Minister asked the Principal Secretary of the Higher Education Department to probe in all such cases and said that educational institutions like this
are playing with the future of the children and they should be immediately stopped.

Over a complaint by one Abhishek Priyanshu of Bokaro district who was waiting for a job on compensation grounds since February 2011 the Chief Minister ordered to take necessary action as per the rules. Over another complaint by one Anu Kumari whose father died on November 1, 2002, while working as treasurer at the minor irrigation division in Gumla, Mr Das directed the DC Gumla to provide the girl job in some department at the district level.

In a complaint related to toilets constructed in 450 rooms of Valmiki Bhawan, he directed the Commissioner of the RMC to conduct a probe. In another complaint from Giridih where it was pointed that the primary health sub-center in Laxman Tunda was closed due to lack of ANM the Chief Minister ordered all the DCs to fill the vacant posts of the ANM at the district level by January 15.

One Sunita Devi of Dumri accused the CO Jagdish Kumar Pandey of being involved illegal extortion after which the Chief Minister asked to suspend the CO with immediate effect and order a probe into his assets. Mr Das also directed that a letter be issued to all the divisional commissioners to conduct surprise inspections in their areas.

On a complaint from Pakur where it was pointed out that the construction work at Manjhithan and Jaher Than at Gosaipur village in Hiranpur block was not completed over which he asked the DC to get the work done immediately with untied funds. The Chief Minister also held direct talks with the villagers of Thethaitangar panchayat of Simdega district through video conferencing. In the interaction, one of the villagers pointed out that they had not give compensation as the crops were damaged in Kersai block in 2015 due to heavy rainfalls over which Mr Das asked DC Simdega to organize a camp and pay the compensation by December 30.
