CRPF jawans attempts suicide in Latehar

Latehar: A jawan of the 11th battalion of the CRPF posted Kinamand Camp tried to commit suicide by cutting open his stomach after which he was rushed to the Sadar Hospital from where the doctors referred him to RIMS Ranchi. The CRPF jawan has been identified as Suresh Oraon. Oroan was rushed to RIMS through a helicopter from Latehar.

Upon receiving information regarding the incident the officials of the CRPF along with policemen also reached the Sadar Hospital and inquired into the incident. Dr Manish Lal of the Sadar Hospital Latehar said that after performing an operation which lasted for more than three hours the intestine which had come out of the stomach was stitched back after which the jawan was sent to Ranchi for better aid. CRPF jawans said that Oraon was suffering from mental stress and was taking treatment for the same.
