Tax collector posted in RMC caught taking bribe by ACB in Ranchi

Ranchi (RP Service): Sleuths of the Anti Corruption Department have arrested a tax collector posted at the Ranchi Municipal Corporation while he was accepting a bribe from a trader for issuing the holding number. The arrested has been identified as Sunil Kumar. Tuesday morning the complainant reached the office of the tax collector and tried to pay him the bribe which Sunil asked to kept in his drawer. As soon as the complainant kept the money a team of the ACB reached on the spot and arrested the man.

Upon receiving information about the incident deputy town commissioner Sanjay Kumar along with other officials reached on the spot and inquired into the matter. On the other hand, the employees of the RMC indulged in slogan shouting at the office accusing ACB of deliberately arrested the employee.
