Chandraprakash sacks JE for forgery and financial irregularities

Ranchi: State’s Water Resources and Drinking Water Minister Chandraprakash Chowdhary has sacked junior engineer Sashi Prasad
for remaining absent from job for more than eight years without any valid reasons. The minister has issued a warning to all the engineers who are not following the guidelines of the departments and said that strict action would be taken against such engineers who are deliberately raising the issue of rules and regulations to impact the development projects.

JE Sashi Prasad was accused of committing gross irregularities during his posting in Jamtara district and was also accused of indiscipline and indulging in malpractices following which he was suspended from the job. Moreover he also tried to mislead the investigating team which had gone to testify the charges which were levelled against him. During the course of the investigation conducted by the department it became evident that the man had. even submitted fake medical certificates to makes his claims for abstaining from job on medical grounds
