SEEDS barred in national capital for non disclosure of foreign funding

Ranchi: NGO SEEDS has been barred in the national capital for not disclosing its foreign funding following which it will not be able to carry out tobacco control works. The NGO had approached the government to collaborate on tobacco control but did not share its foreign funding details when asked by the chief tobacco control officer from working. It was also decided that all the foreign-funded organisations will need to seek prior approval n their future anti-tobacco activities.
