Maoists set 11 hyvas on fire in Hazaribagh

Hazaribagh: Ultras belonging to the proscribed CPI (Maoists) set on fire 10 hyvas in Kusumbha village under Katkamdag Police
Station area of this district. Police sources said that all the vehicles which were laden with coal were coming from Amrapali Coal project from Tandwa district of Chatra district and were going to coal dumping yard at Banadag under Katkamdag police station area.

The Maoists executed the incident near Kusumbha forest. The ultras had set a total of 12 vehicles on fire but two were saved as the fire brigade team managed to reach at the time. The drivers of the vehicles said that maoist around 100 reached the area and after making the drivers come out of their vehicles poured diesel on them and set them on fire and fled from the spot.
