Bokaro: The Bokaro Police has seized 20 trucks carrying illegal laden coal in this district. Bokaro SP Karthik S said that the documents of these trucks has also been seized which are being probed. He said that police had received a secret tip-off regarding smuggling of coal from Duwra of Purulia district of West Bengal to Gaya and Dehri On Soan in Bihar.
He said that a team led by Bermo SDPO Subhash Chand Jat seized these trucks from Berma Chandrapura and Nawadih police station area of the district. He said that the mining department has also been asked to conduct a probe after which action would be taken against the culprits.
