Daltonganj: Police has arrested an area commander of the Tritya Prastuti Committee from Chattarpur Police Station area of the Palamu district. Chattarpur SDPO Shambhu Singh said that acting on a secret tip-off the ultra Saddam Hussain was arrested from his home. He said that the arrested along with his other associates had looted Rs 92,000 from a stone crusher owner on December 2 and was also involved in spreading terror in other areas of the district.
He said that the ultras was also running an illegal stone crusher unit in his village which was destroyed by the police in a special drive. Hussain had a couple of years ago also had set on fire a stone crusher unit in the area after which he was evading arrest.
