Chaibasa: A youth lost his life while another one sustained serious injuries as a bike on which they were travelling rammed with a tree in Simrita village under Manoharpur Police Station area of West Singhbhum district.
The deceased has been identified as Vikas Tanti (20) while Suraj Pandey (23) sustained serious injuries and has been admitted at Manoharpur community health care centre. Family members said that Vikas had recently got a job in the railways.
Police said that the youths were travelling on a motorbike from Jaraikela to Manoharpur when the rider lost control due to which the bike hit a tree in which Vikas was killed on the spot.
