Miscreants decamp with jewellery & cash worth Rs 10 lakh from temple in Ghatshila

Jamshedpur (RP Service): Unidentified thieves looted cash and jewellery worth Rs 10 lakh from the Rani Sati Temple located in Ghatshila of the East Singhbhum district. The incident came into notice Wednesday morning when the priest reached to conduct the puja during which he would that the doors of the temple were broken and jewellery was missing after which he alerted the officials of the temple committee and police.

Miffed over the incident the people hailing from the Marwari community and that from temple management committee later closed the market demanding for immediate arrest of the thieves. Upon receiving information SDPO Ranveer Singh also reached on the spot and inquired into the matter, a dog squad was also pressed into service to look for clues of the thieves.
