Dumka (RP Service): One person lost his life while another was seriously injured in separate road accidents which took place under Hansdiha police station areas of this district. In the first incident, one Niranjan Bauri (35) lost his life as he was hit by a motorcycle at Champatari village. In the incident, the biker Sanjay Rai also sustained injuries and was later referred outside for better treatment.
In another accident near Kurmahaat, a biker sustained serious injuries after being hit by a pickup van. Post the incident the driver of the pickup van fled from the spot leaving his vehicle behind. Later the police took the injured to Sadar Hospital.
