Archers Dipika Kumari and Atanu Das get engaged in Ranchi

Ranchi (By our correspondent): International archer Dipika Kumari who is also a recipient of Padam Shri today got engaged with fellow international archer Atanu Das during a function which was held at her ancestral home located at Ratu Chatti.

Among others, former Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda along with his wife Meera Munda were present during the function to bless the couple. Family members of Dipika said that the entire function was held in a very simple and somber environment with only close relatives and friends invited to join.

Before the duo engaged the rings a puja was performed were both of them took blessings of the god. From Atanu side also only very close members of the family were invited to the function. Atanu Das originally hails from Kolkata. The duo are likely to get married in November next year.
