BRP-CRP gherao Vidhan Sabha in support of their demands

Ranchi: Block Resource Person (BRP) and Cluster Resource Person (CRP) from across the state on Tuesday gheraoed the vidhansabha in support of their various demand.

The demonstrators said that for the last 17 years under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyaan they have been working and time to time they are also handed over different responsibilities but till date no rules have been decided for them nor any service rules have been defined.

President of the association Pankaj Shukla said that during the elections Chief Minister Hemant Soren had promised that if voted to power all contractual employees will be regularised and they would be given pay scale. But the assurances so far given by the government inside the Assembly over the matter of BRP and CRP is very disappointing. He said that if their demands will not be met then they will be forced to launch a large-scale agitation.

The main demands of the association included regular service of BRP and CRP working for the last 17 years and formation of the service rules, according priority to BRP and CRP in filling up the vacant post of education department and 50 percent reservation  in teacher appointment to trained BRP and CRP.
