Ranchi: Finance Minister and State Congress chief Dr Rameshwar Oraon on Thursday got himself injected with the coronavirus vaccine at a private hospital in the city.
Dr Oraon reached at the Hill View Hospital and got the first dose of Covishield vaccine. He was administered the injection by sister Nili Rose Barwa and sister Nibha Rani. The entire process of vaccination was completed under the supervision of hospital administrator Sangeeta Rai with this Dr Oraon has become the first minister from the Hemant Soren cabinet to get himself Corona vaccine.
Talking to the reporters later he said that the coronavirus vaccine which has been made in the country is completely safe and also congratulated the scientists for their work. He said that the state government is worried about the health of all the citizens.
He said that as per the guidelines of the centre currently the vaccines are being given to corona warriors and people who are above 60 years of age or those who are battling serious diseases.
