Lalu Yadav's jail manual violation case, RIMS director seeks unconditional apology for delay in submitting report

Ranchi: Jharkhand High Court on Friday cancelled the hearing in case related to jail manual violation by jailed RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav till further orders.

The matter was taken up in the court of justice Apresh Kumar Singh during which the Director RIMS presented the medical report of Lalu Prasad Yadav.

Devrishi Mandal the lawyer of Lalu Yadav later said that after going through the medical report the court postponed  the hearing in the case. He said that the HC had itself taken cognisance in the case. On the other hand the RIMS Director sought unconditional apology from the court for delay in submitting the report.

In the previous hearing the court was informed that since the health condition of Lalu Yadav had badly declined therefore doctors had sent him outside for better treatment prior to which a medical board was constituted.

On January 23 due to breathing difficulties Lalu Yadav was sent to AIIMS New Delhi from RIMS Ranchi.
