Ranchi: Late evening showers and hail storm lashed many areas of the state capital which increased the cold however the bright sun shine on Sunday gave a much needed respite to the people.
According to the weather department in the next few days the minimum temperature will come down which would increase the cold after which the temperature will increase.
Scientist at the weather department said that alongwith western disturbance the cyclonic winds have entered from Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh into Latehar and Lohardaga due to which on Saturday apart from Ranchi in many other districts rainfall and hailing took place.
In the last 24 hours in North-Western areas in one or two arra light rainfall has been reported with Daltonganj recording a maximum rainfall. Among the districts Chaibasa recorded a maximum temperature of 31.6 degrees and was also the coolest at 9.8 degrees.
