Dhurwa police arrests two for firing of trader Dilip Poddar

Ranchi: Dhurwa Police has arrested two men and forwarded them to jail who were involved in firing on trader Dilip Poddar while the search was on for another. The arrested included main accused of the case August Kaccahp and Karan Mahli. A country-made pistol which was used in the incident along with a couple of cartridges were recovered from them.

Dilip in his complaint to the police had said that he was having a land dispute with August and in this dispute, the incident has been executed. The incident took place on Monday evening when two bike borne miscreant fired three bullets on Dilip and fled from the spot. He was later rushed to a private hospital where his condition was stated to be stable.
