CM approves to include 12 more services of three departments under right to service act

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren has approved to bring 12 services spread across  three departments under right to services act.

An official press release issued here said that that yhr Chief Minister has approved to bring 9 services of excise and prohibition department, 2 services of power department and 1 service of industries department under right to service act.

The concerned officials and the timeline of their services have been also mentioned in the provisions.

The services of of the excise department which have been brought under its ambit include approval of retail shops in malls, renewal of retail shop licences in malls, approval for micro brewery,  registration of brands etc.  The concerned officer for these services will be the DC of the concerned district while first appeal officer will be the excise commissioner and second appeal officer will be Secretary of Excise and Prohibition Department.

Under the Industries department the task of solving the inquiry of the inventors under which the concerned officer will be deputy director (investment encouragement) while first appeal officer will be authority general manager, single window system while the second appeal officer will be authority Director Industries cum single window system.

The services for granting approval for map of setting up of the DG set and approval for its services have been also brought under right to services act. The concerns officer for this will be the electricity Inspector while first appeal officer will be senior electricity Inspector and second appeal officer will be chief electricity engineer cum chief power inspector.
