TSPC regional commander carrying reward of Rs 15 lakh surrenders before Chatra Police

Chatra: A regional commander of the Tritiya Sammelan Prastuti Committee who was carrying a reward of Rs 15 lakh on his head on Friday surrendered before the senior officials of Chatra police and CRPF.

Regional commander Muneshwar alias Mukesh Ganjhu surrendered in a function held at the office of Chatra SP Rishabh Jha during which CRPF commandant Pawan Basan, SSP Nigam Prasad, SDPO Avinash Kumar and others were present. Mukesh Ganjhu was second in command in the organisation of the TSPC.

He was also wanted in connection with the murder of journalist Inderdeo and even was on the radar of the NIA for his involvement in terror funding. Addressing the press on the occasion SP Rishabh Jha said that all the benefits as part of the surrender policy of the state government will be given to him.

Ganjhu himself said that he had been attracted by the surrender policy of the state government due to which he had laid down his weapons and also urged others to follow the same path. On the occasion his wife was also present.
