Chatra: Labour Minister Satyanand Bhokta said that in the month of March Chief Minister Hemant Soren will inaugurate the much awaited Chorkari power grid which will solve the power issues of the district permanently.
The minister who reached on a two day visit to the district said that not only Chatra city will get 24 hours of power but even in the rural areas 20-22 hours of power will be available. It was former Chief Minister Arjun Munda who had laid foundation for this project 10 years ago.
The Minister said that in the next one month all the work related to the power sub station will be completed. He said that in the different blocks work of construction of power sub stations has been completed. He said that the start of the grid will be a big gift to the people of the area.
