Ormanjhi Murder Case: Hands of Ranchi Police empty after 48 hours

Ranchi: Despite 48 hours gone by the hands of Ranchi police are empty in the Ormanjhi Murder case.

On Tuesday IG Akhilesh Jha alongwith senior officials visited the incident spot and inquired into the incident. He also announced that any person who would be providing any cue of the criminals will be given a award of Rs 50,000. The beheaded body of the girl was found behind Sainath University from bushes in Parsagarh.

The IG said that a SIT was probing the entire matter. Ranchi Police has issued WhatsApp numbers on which people can give any information related to the culprits. People have been asked to provide inputs on the mobile numbers of SSP Ranchi, SP Rural Ranchi, DSP Silli and Officer incharge for Ormanjhi Police Station. Identity of the person who would be providing any information regarding the culprits will be kept a secret.

Ranchi Police has already got in touch with the police of Ramgarh, Bokaro, Hazaribagh and other neighbouring district to find as to whether any girl had gone missing. Further districts of Simdega and Khunti have been also contacted for the same.

The beheaded body of the girl was found on January 3 but despite three DSPs, one Inspector and two dozen women police personnel have been given the responsibility to find the head of the girl.
